Jeffrey Pederson, DO

Dr. Pederson is a board-certified physician in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, specializing in EMG testing at Capital Orthopaedics.

Dr. Pederson earned his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University with a bachelor's in Exercise and Sports Science. He attended medical school at Des Moines University, where he was also selected to a one-year, pre-doctoral fellowship in osteopathic manipulative medicine throughout his time there. After graduation, Dr. Pederson's training took him to Michigan State University where he completed his residency. He returned to Iowa in 2009 to revive the outpatient Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation program at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines until 2019.

Dr. Pederson was providing physical medicine services to skilled nursing facilities throughout the Des Moines metro for two years prior to joining the team at Capital Orthopaedics in November 2021.
