Zak Ibrahim is a board certified, fellowship trained spine surgeon who embraces a conservative, open-minded approach.
Originally from Minnesota, Dr. Ibrahim completed medical school at the University of Minnesota in 1991. He was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society for his academic accomplishments while in medical school. He then went on to complete a prestigious orthopedic surgery residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, in 1996. Finally, Dr. Ibrahim completed his sub-specialization in the field of spinal surgery at the University of California, San Diego, in 1997. During his time there, Dr. Ibrahim was the lead author of numerous scientific publications and several book chapters.
He joins us from Denver, where he spent the last two decades leading the area in minimally invasive techniques. As one of the first surgeons in the US to utilize robotic guidance for spinal surgery, Dr. Ibrahim is committed to advancing the field through research and continuing education.
